1. About EarlyEye

EarlyEye is a mobile application that helps parents screen their children's eyes using the Brückner red reflex test via smartphone camera. The app also provides vision screening, myopia risk assessment, eye exercise guidance, and daily health tracking.

2. Medical Disclaimer

• Results are based on automated analysis of smartphone photographs
• A "normal" result does NOT guarantee absence of eye conditions
• An "abnormal" result does NOT constitute a medical diagnosis
• Always consult a registered ophthalmologist or optometrist for professional evaluation
• Do not delay seeking medical attention based on EarlyEye results
• EarlyEye should be used in addition to, not instead of, regular professional eye exams

3. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account
• You must be the parent or legal guardian of any child whose data you enter
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
• One account per phone number

4. Account & Security

• Your account is secured via phone number OTP verification
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

6. Payments & Refunds

• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings
• Scan credits are non-refundable once purchased
• If you experience a technical issue preventing scan completion, contact us for a credit
• Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any purpose other than screening your own children's eyes
• Upload photos that are not of human eyes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the screening algorithms
• Share your account with others
• Use the app to provide medical advice to others
• Misrepresent EarlyEye results as a medical diagnosis

8. Intellectual Property

• EarlyEye, the app, its design, and content are our intellectual property
• The Brückner test methodology is in the public domain; our implementation is proprietary
• You retain ownership of your photos and health data
• PDF reports generated by EarlyEye may be shared freely with healthcare providers

9. Limitation of Liability

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of screening results
• We are not responsible for delays in seeking medical treatment
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Referral Program

• Users receive a unique referral code
• Both referrer and referee receive 1 free scan credit when the code is applied
• Referral credits cannot be exchanged for cash
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program
• Abuse of the referral system (fake accounts, etc.) will result in account suspension

11. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings
• Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Unused scan credits are forfeited upon account deletion

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
